Lemon Poppy Seed Body Scrub

I like scrubs for exfoliating my skin. I am in love with the facial scrub I use a couple of times a week. My skin always feels fresh afterwards. If for any reason I don’t use the scrub I notice it and start to breakout. Considering that I have always had breakouts all the time. My skin looks the best it has in a very long time, I still have pigmentation from the acne but I am happy with what I have now.

I am less diligent about the rest of my body but whenever I remember I use a body scrub or I use a stone I got from my cousin in Zimbabwe. The stone does nearly the same as the scrub except for moisturising my skin. This body scrub is made from sugar, poppy seeds, lemon zest and coconut oil.

The sugar and poppy seeds will exfoliate the skin and remove and dead skin. The lemon has got loads of Vitamin C which acts as a cleanser and will tone the skin and coconut oil will moisturise and cleanse your skin.

To make this scrub, mix the sugar, coconut oil, lemon zest and poppy seeds. The consistency will be like wet sand. Store in a airtight glass container

It looks so good, you could actually eat it.

Lemon Poppy Seed Body Scrub

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 4 table spoons coconut oil
• 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
• Lemon zest from one lemon

Instructions

1. Mix all the ingredients and store in a air tight container

To use, take a handful of the scrub and scrub your whole body in circular motions for about 5 minutes before showering. You can also use it before shaving your arms and legs to avoid getting bumbs. Before using on your whole body try it on a patch and see if you react.
