Peach Rooibos Ice Tea

Ingredients

Simple syrup

  • 2-3 peaches pitted and skinned
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Tea

  • 4 rooibos tea leaves
  • 8 cups water

Instructions

  1. Boil peaches, sugar and water until the peaches are softened. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. Boil water for tea and add the tea bags and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and allow to cool.
  3. Puree the syrup and pour in a jar. Add the tea and refrigerate.
  4. Serve cold over ice and or peaches. You add basil leaves if you prefer.
