I have wanted to make a cape for myself for sometime but could not find a pattern for it locally and did not want to buy it online. On Friday I decided to draft the pattern for it myself and after a lot of googling I found a way of drafting the pattern. How it came out is not the way I had pictured it in my head but I went along with it and ended up adding a belt to it. I guess I accidentally came up with my own design.
As you can tell its gaping at the front because of the placement of the slashes but I think for someone with a flatter chest it would be fine. I am sure my mom will love this.
Soon it will be christmas and what better way to do it than give away something I made. I am giving away this pair of oven mitts to a lucky reader you can enter the contest here on Facebook.
