Its now hot in Bermuda and I need something light and refreshing on my skin.Body mists are a great alternative for this but they are expensive. I found out I could make my own with things that I already had at home so it was super affordable.
What you need
- 2 ounces distilled water/vodka – I used water.
- 2 teaspoons glycerine
- 1 teaspoon lavender oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- spray bottle
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients in a jar and close the jar. Shake to mix the ingredients. Pour into the spray bottle.
The glycerine and oil will separate from the water so you should shake before each use.
Lemon can cause sensitivities if you are exposed to sunlight so may want to omit it if you are going to be in the sun.
