Polymer clay key-chain tutorial

Some two years ago, I made some earrings with polymer clay. I was just playing around with polymer clay nothing fancy, truth is I was never really good at molding stuff in school. I still have some polymer clay and I saw this tutorial on Craft Passion. It is simple enough. I did pretty much everything she did but I did not use rhinestones instead I used studs.

This is what you will need

Mold the polymer clay on a flat surface until is smooth.

Use a rolling pin that you don’t use for food to make the clay flat or use a hard cover book.

Cut out the shapes you want using the cookie cutters. If you have polymer clay left over you can mold it again and cut more shapes.

Using the blunt end of a kebab stick, punch a hole for the key-chain ring.

Press the studs into the clay shapes.

Place on a metal baking sheet and cure for 30 mins or according to the instructions on the packaging of the polymer clay. Please note that you re not to use the same oven that you use for cooking and baking.

After baking and curing, let the key-chains cool down at room temperature. Install the key-chain or use it for any purposes you may want to.
