A couple of months ago, Leo asked me to make him a vest and so I did but I did it blindly. I chose to use the Peter Easy pattern from Berroco. I forgot rather neglected to check the gauge, I always do but usually get away with it. Anyway so it turned way too big for my husband so I sent it to Zimbabwe and it fits my dad. Yeah!!. I must say I like the way it came out looks really nice on him. It took some time for my sister to get back to me with the pictures, it made me feel good that I made something for my dad that he can actually wear.
I love love the way it turned out. Now I have to make a sweater for Leo before winter comes, its a long time but it may become a big project. Here are the contenders for the sweater still to decide
I have to decide and also make sure I find the correct yarn for the sweater otherwise it will not come out the way I am envisioning it should.
