Watermelon and strawberry slush

Somehow I had forgotten that July can be this hot. The actual temperature does not get too high, its the humidity that justs drains you. By the end of the day I will just have had enough of it. Crazy thing is life must go on especially with a restless toddler. Ah it’s terrible I tell you! I wish right now I was in Zimbabwe where it is winter right now.

To cool down I made this watermelon and strawberry slush. Watermelon and strawberry taste good together. Who knew! I blended some frozen watermelon and strawberry and some water together and sweetened it all with some honey. Yum!

If you like herbs you can also add mint or basil.

You will need to cut up the watermelon ahead of time and freeze in a ziplock bag. You can make more than you can eat and store the rest in a tub and then eat it when you want it.
