Turbie twist for curly hair tutorial

I have been toying with the idea of cutting my hair but finally resolved it would be easier to maintain it at this length than if it was shorter. So I intend to give my hair the best care I can.

For years I have read that it is better to use a t-shirt when drying your hair than using a terry towel. I never remember to bring a t-shirt until I need it. I saw a turbie twist, which is a towel for hair but built in such a way that it is only used for hair. So I made one using a t-shirt, I think I will remember to bring this one with me.

Print out the pattern and join the pieces together. Cut out the pattern.

Fold the t-shirt in half and place the pattern on top.

Cut four pieces of the pattern.IMG_0347 Take two pieces, and with right sides facing stitch together leaving the straight edge open. Do this for the other pair as well

Take the sewn pieces and pin them right sides facing, matching the edges. The piece should form a sack. IMG_0352 Stitch around the pinned edges and leave a small opening about two inches.

Pull the turbie through the hole and sew the opening shut.
