Time really goes by really fast. Leo is one tomorrow! What a year it has been. So much has happened yet it does not feel like so much has gone on. I did not enjoy being pregnant especially towards the end because I had so many doctor’s appointments and ended up having a c-section. Perhaps one day I will share Leo’s birth story. As awful and painful the whole experience was I do not remember it at all. I guess this is why people have children after having the first one.
One of the most amazing things in my life has been giving birth to Leo. Having a child is hard work especially when you do not have lots of help. You do the same things many times a day and at the end of the day, you are not even sure what you did all day. Seeing Leo smile fuels me and I thank God for him everyday.
Leo loves books, being tickled, playing with other kids and taking a bath. His favourite person is his dad. He now copies everything we do. He loves getting his photos taken. He definitely gets that from his dad, not me at all.
It has been a great year and here is to making more memories(and me running after you!).
