Crosscountry Pattern Review

This week is one of those where I am not sure what it is I accomplished. Not that I did not do anything. I guess I can blame it on the cold and cough for everything feeling hazzy.

I did a lot, I finished my sweater which I started at the beginning of my trip to Zimbabwe.

Couldn't sleep so I started working on my sweater. Using bulky yarn so it is going fast. #crosscountry #ravelry

By the time I got to Zimbabwe, I was past armpit level

Past armpit level now. #knittersofinstagram #ravelry #knitting

Although it is mostly stockinette stitch the cross made it interesting as well the yarn which was super soft on my hands.

Finished the body of my cardigan. Love the "cross" in the cross country cardigan. Now onto sleeves. #ravelry #crosscountry #knitting

Then it was time to knit the arms. I hate knitting arms in the round. I just hate it. So it took me 4 months to finish the arms and the front ribbing. Plus it’s dirty since I was taking it from place to place.

I don’t really like the front, I probably did not pick up enough stitches.  I will see if I like it better after blocking it. For now I am just happy I finished it.

Now on to the next project.
