I usually just throw everything in my bag and then I have to spend five minutes looking for lip gloss. I do not know why this is because I used to make make up bags all the time but never made one for myself. It is one of those things that is so easy to make it is unbelievable.
You will need
- 1/4 yard of fabric
- 1/4 yard of lining
- scissors
- sewing machine or needle and thread
- pins
- 10 inch zipper
Cut two 10 inch x 10 inch squares of fabric and the lining.
Sandwich the zipper between the fabric and lining right sides facing and making sure the zipper is facing the fabric on the right sides.
Repeat for the other side as well and press the seams.
Align the fabric and lining and stitch around. Leave an opening on the lining side.
Fold the corners, aligning the seams. Stitch across to make a triangle, about 1 inch from the apex of the triangle. Do this to all corners.
Trim off the triangles of all the corners
Pull the bag through the opening.
Pin and slip stitch close the opening.
Turn your bag inside out and you are done.
