We are back in Bermuda. I have not written or shared any pictures in over a month. In Zimbabwe I hardly had any time to write but have so much to share from there. I haven’t written here in Bermuda because as soon as I left Zimbabwe I missed it and my heart has not been into anything yet. Then my friend lost her mom and its frustrating that I can not be there for her.
I made some guava juice a few days after visiting my aunts. I ate way too many guavas. When I can find them here in Bermuda they are expensive and bruised.
When I miss guavas I usually buy the juice. I made my own version at home.
I removed all the black spots from the guavas and put the fruit in a blender with 4 cups water and half a cup of sugar.
Pass the blended fruit though a sieve.
Discard the seeds and pulp. Pour the juice ina serving jug and add one more cu of water. Serve over ice with a slice of guava.
