Hi Tshosa, tsunga is mustard greens so look for mustard seeds in vegetable seed shops or here https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_nr_n_1?fst=as%3Aoff&rh=n%3A4224921031%2Ck%3Amustard+seeds&keywords=mustard+seeds&ie=UTF8&qid=1494085896&rnid=1642204031

Nice post and a serious issue, every black person gets penalised for having kinky hair, big lips and the beautiful shades of Africa skin tones, while the eye Euros love to mimic the dance attributes,

I made the hamburger and kale recipe and it’s so yummy. Of course, I added a couple of my own tweaks: added a diced tomato and seasoned it with red pepper flakes, chili powder and cumin. We loved it. Thanks for a great recipe!

I read your post on quinoa and chimukuyu. I am looking for quinoa seed to plant in my garden. I bought some from pick n Pay In Harare but it didn’t sprout. Where else can I buy quinoa. I want to grow mine organically for own consumption. Thanks in advance for your kind help.
Hi Philip. Store bought grains are treated so sometimes they will not germinate. I found this on facebook https://www.facebook.com/ZimbabweOpenMarket/photos/a.267612146712796.1073741829.267599593380718/388086094665400/?type=1&theater

Hello Princess Tafadzwa, I am originally from Bermuda and just love that our little spot got mentioned in your blog (cassava pie). We make it a bit less sweet and add meat, as you know. I live in Canada now and it was hard to come by cassava until a small specialty (Filipino) store opened a little while ago in our small town. Now I have everything I need for Christmas!
Hi Mary, thanks for reading!

Hi
I threw some cow peas seed in my garden and have some fresh leaves growing, i will use your recipe tonight. I love traditional dishes and currently living in South africa with my family. I will continue to motivate my children to eat our nutritious traditional food. I miss Zimbabwe so much.
Made your Kale and hamburger dish last night. Husband loved it. I cooked some brown rice and had a piece of garlic bread on the side. Delicious!

Hi Tafadzwa l really enjoyed the fish recipe so easy and straight forward. Reminds me of my later mom, love it. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your culture. During this quarantine, I am tired of trying to come up with new dinner recipes night after night. I decided to try something different. I found a website that will let me click a button and it will randomly suggest a country. We click that and learn about whatever country appears, including cooking the favorite recipes from that country. Tonight is Zimbabwe. It has been fun discovering new recipes and the food looks delicious. I had never heard of sadza before, although being from the South United States, I have eaten plenty of grits. I cannot wait to cook and eat dinner tonight. Thank you again!!
You are welcome! Hope you enjoyed your meal.
I’m loving what you are doing
Thank you!
