I am a mom, wife and writer of this blog where I share recipes from Zimbabwe and share craft ideas, patterns and tutorials. I like to make stuff and love to learn new skills. All my patterns and e-books are downloadable from this website.

Love your turban hat and the tutorial kis so clear too! VERY 1940’s
Your bread recipe looks yummy. I am a Mom of 5 and Nana of 9. I love to cook. We live in the South, specifically southwest Tennessee, and my cooking is Southern. Looking forward to seeing more of your recipes.
Hi, I am a culinary student in New York State. I am working on a menu for a class assignment that is on Zimbabwe Cuisine. I was wondering if you would be so kind to share some authentic recipes with me. I am seeing the same thing all over the internet and would like some that aren’t so well know but could transfer very nicely to the American palate. See, I am doing this because the President of my college is from Zimbabwe and I would like to honor him by creating a menu that could be served in our college restaurant that is open to the public. We create 3 appetizers (soup, salad, appetizer), 4 entrees (meat, poultry, another meat source, and a vegetarian) with sides ( vegetables and a starch), 5 desserts, and bread. I would like to keep the ingredients to what is easily attainable in Zimbabwe. If you could let me know what the ingredients are (flavor profile) so if I can’t get them then I can substitute an ingredient I can get here in the states with a similar profile. I would greatly appreciate it. I need to have it if at all possible, in the next couple of weeks as it is due at the end of the semester. (May 5th). Thank you for taking the time out to read this and for sharing your culture with me.
My name is Sandra and would like to make a turban for my granddaughter and great granddaughter don’t know how to get measurements. If you would help me I would greatly appreciated.
